Define Your Relationship.

People always assume that just because I am with somebody other than H some days we are polyamorous. No. Then there are those who confuse my Open Relationship with being Polyamorous. NO! NO! NO! Of rules and standards: friends with benefits

The problem with open relationship people & online dating sites

People (read: MEN) need to re-think their profiles on conventional dating sites if they are seeking friends with benefits. Especially open relationship men or men who are married in name only. Or even those who are hoping to get some action on the side without their girlfriends knowing. There are rules regarding creating profiles for

Of first messages, profiles and hooking up

I like filling out profiles. They are fun. I change my twitter bio a few dozen times a week until I am satisfied with it. I change my AV and background pics in the same frequency for the same reason. So when I joined online dating sites a couple of years ago, I did the same thing. I changed my profile when I felt like. I noticed also, each time I change my profile, I got more or less messages and “likes”, depending how drunk I was at the time I crafted my profile. Yes. I very rarely fill out my profile or start a new profile while sober. Don’t ask.

I certainly have met my fair share. I do not mind having the occasional chat with strangers about anything in general but sometimes, I wonder why they feel the need

Can you be less amusing so we can sorta start dating?

I cannot speak for every woman out there but these are my rules and regulations when it comes to messaging me anywhere. BE POLITE. How difficult is it to be polite to another human being? Say, hello, my name is so and so. I see that you _______ (insert distinctive hobby or past time). Obviously

Are you man enough to understand the dynamics of online dating sites?

While I was dawdling on a certain Hallmark Card day, one of my twitter friends tweeted : You can have anything or any type of person in this world if you figure out How to Ask. Very powerful concept. My immediate reaction was – AMEN! HALLELUJAH! GOD IS GREAT! YOWZA! That tweet described a

Fat Is The New Sexy.

Post fueled by “I’m Fat, Forty And Single And I’m Having No Problems Getting Laid All The Time” story… I have been lifting weights for the past 2.5 years now. It all began when I put on 8 pounds in 3 years. The fat on my mid-section would not go away. I have two kids – 18 and 13 years old. I never had a belly after they were born. I ate the same damn thing my mother fed me when I started on solid foods. OK, with some variations along the way. I added White Russian, Margarita and fuck knows what else in between. But I always lost the fat after the baby without much effort.

I already have a pussy, I don’t need another.

I am surrounded by men. As in, I talk to men a lot. There’s H who I see everyday, and there’s my gay BFF who I talk to (almost) all day everyday and the occasional other men. I mostly talk to them about anything and everything that comes to mind. Most of the time of course I am just complaining to them about their kind. Most of the time, none of these men I talk to can provide me with any answers. They are just as baffled by other men’s behaviours. So, it is not me. I am not crazy. Men are stupid.

Men are…

A few months ago, a tall, blonde, blue-eyed person sent me a message. In it, he told me his name, where he was from and why he was in my state. He also included his phone number, which I ignored. At the very end of his message, he added, “I am 6 ft 1.” I thought, okay, he read my profile in it’s entirety. I always make it a point to spell out which physical attributes I look for in a person. I used to tell my friends I would only date tall people, preferably 6 ft or over. They were to introduce me to such persons if they found any. Of course, they did not. They were better at finding me jobs than finding me men.
